Jeanne Shub

M. Jeanne Shub began her professional career as an elementary school teacher in Boston, MA. She decided to pursue graduate study in psychology after taking a course with Jean Piaget at the University of Geneva. Jeanne' educational training includes graduate study in school and child psychology (leading to a Ph.D,) and clinical supervision in family, play and psychodynamic therapy.

She has taught at the elementary, college and graduate school level. Jeanne has a private practice for children and families and is a consultant in public and private elementary schools. She has directed the Interplay program for over twenty years in 13 different school systems. Jeanne has lectured extensively here and abroad at workshops and conferences and published papers in professional journals on education, learning disabilities and cognitive development. Amy DeWeerd has spent the past 20 years teaching elementary school in upstate New York. Her years in the classroom have included experience with regular and special education students. She has taught at the University level and has led workshops for parents, teachers, administrators and social workers since 1994.
